SRE DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure using code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Automating repetitive tasks, infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Implementing and managing monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., CloudWatch) to track system performance, identify issues, and ensure uptime.
• Implementing and maintaining security best practices, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Working closely with development, operations, and other teams to ensure smooth software delivery and operations.
• Optimizing cloud resources for cost, performance, and efficiency.

Skills/Requirement

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role with a strong focus on building and maintaining highly available and scalable systems.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.
• Experience with tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of operating systems, networking, and system administration principles.
• Knowledge of security principles and best practices for cloud environments.
