As a Resident Physician (RP)/ Senior Resident Physician (SRP) at the Department of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, you will be providing clinical care to outpatients and/or inpatients supervised by senior doctors. You will be exposed to a wide range of interesting GI and hepatology cases, seeing patients at the Specialist Outpatient Clinic (General Gastroenterology Clinic, IBD Clinic, Nutrition Clinic), inpatient wards, blue letter consults, medical ambulatory centre and endoscopy centre, and have opportunities to perform procedures such as abdominal paracentesis and gastrostomy tube change, and be involved in quality and research studies the type of work/ working schedule (part time or full time) is flexible and can be tailored to individual preferences and interests.
Requirements
- In active clinical practice;
- Basic medical degree registrable with the Singapore Medical Council;
- Recognised postgraduate medical qualifications (eg MRCP) preferred but not mandatory;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as Medical Officer;
- Strong command of spoken and written English
