Job Details Job Title Quality Analyst (Quality Assurance) Type of Position C2H Experience Range 5+ Years Job Location Pune/Remote Roles & Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and implementing systematic test plans, ensuring product quality across the full software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with software developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to determine project scope, testing requirements, and quality benchmarks. • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications. • Perform various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, system integration testing, and performance testing. • Identify, analyze, and report software defects and issues using bug tracking tools, and collaborate with the development team to ensure their resolution. • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective actions to prevent similar issues in the future. • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective test strategies. • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards. • Monitor and evaluate testing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies and tools, and recommend their adoption to enhance the overall quality assurance process. • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Collaborate with the development team to ensure continuous integration and delivery practices are followed, promoting a culture of quality throughout the software development life cycle. Technical Competency: • Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automated testing. • Strong knowledge of software development, life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. • Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail). • Experience in designing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios. • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., TOSCA, Selenium, LoadRunner, JMeter, JUnit, TestNG). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide innovative testing solutions. • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate complex technical concepts. • Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus. They should use AI to speed up regression testing and root-cause analysis, while keeping a close eye on validating AI-generated test outputs.
