This role focuses on building strong fundamentals in thin film processes, disciplined experimental execution, and understanding process‑device interactions under guidance from senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Process Execution & Learning
Execute established thin film processes (ALD/CVD) according to defined procedures and development plans.
Run experiments, collect data, and maintain accurate documentation of results.
Learn process fundamentals, key knobs, and sensitivities for assigned film steps or unit processes.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Perform basic data analysis and summarize results in clear, structured formats.
Identify obvious trends, anomalies, and repeatability issues in experimental data.
Present findings in team forums with guidance from senior engineers.
Tool & Process Support
Support day‑to‑day process development activities on cell film equipment.
Learning tool operation principles, recipe structure, and basic hardware functionality.
Assist in tool qualifications, process checks, and routine troubleshooting efforts.
Process Integration Exposure
Develop basic understanding of how cell film processes impact downstream integration and device behavior.
Support failure analysis and learning activities related to yield or reliability issues.
Follow established handoff and documentation practices.
Collaboration & Professional Development
Collaborate closely with senior engineers, equipment engineers, and integration teams.
Seek feedback and coaching to accelerate technical learning.
Demonstrate strong ownership of assigned tasks and timelines.
Expected Growth & Capability Development
Build foundational knowledge in thin film materials, chemistry, and process physics.
Progress toward independent execution of experiments with minimal supervision.
Learn to connect process conditions to material, structural, and early electrical trends.
Required Expertise
Fundamental understanding of thin film deposition techniques (ALD, CVD).
Basic knowledge of materials science, chemical reactions, and vacuum systems.
Familiarity with experimental methods and data interpretation.
Willingness to learn semiconductor process tools and fab metrology.
Minimum Qualifications
