The role supports the Foundations communications strategy by contributing to impactful content, media relations, campaigns, and engagement initiatives while ensuring a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
Communications & Content
- Responsible for the development, writing, and editorial oversight of high-impact content across all communication platforms, including speeches, press releases, op-eds, newsletters, annual reports, and social media.
- Champion and enforce consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all touchpoints.
- Plan and produce content and editorial calendars aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop and produce presentations, publications, and thought leadership materials to position the Foundation as a leader in kidney health journey
Public Relations & Media Strategy
- Develop and execute proactive PR strategies to elevate the Foundations profile, strengthen media relationships, and manage reputational risks.
- Serve as a key liaison to media partners, handling interviews, press engagement, and media outreach.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on media coverage, sentiment, and trends to inform strategic communications.
- Craft clear, compelling messaging for spokespersons and media statements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
- Cultivate and manage high-value relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare partners, media, donors, patients, and community leaders.
- Organise and implement strategic engagement initiativesforums, closed-door dialogues, and stakeholder roundtables.
- Capture stakeholder feedback to strengthen advocacy narratives and engagement approaches.
Campaigns & Event Communications
- Develop communications plan and craft messaging for public campaigns, policy advocacy, and major events.
- Develop event communication toolkits, including talking points, speeches, multimedia materials, and post-event coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver seamless, high-impact public-facing initiatives.
Team Collaboration & Culture
- Provide guidance and support junior executive and interns.
