Job Description

The Employee Engagement and Inclusion Specialist will play a pivotal role in executing employee engagement and inclusion programs for the Global Data Centers division (GDC) of NTT DATA. With a presence in the Americas, EMEA, APAC & Japan, and India, this role will work to elevate the overall employee experience in areas including employee engagement, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), wellness, and corporate social responsibility. Critical to GDC's success, this role must collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a holistic approach to the employee lifecycle, focused on creating a positive and consistent experience. This role will report to the Director of Global Engagement, Culture, and Inclusion, and be a member of the Global People and Culture team. Successful candidates will have a passion for creating engaging work environments, energizing people, be a self-starter who learns quickly, enjoy working in a fast-paced, global environment and have a proven ability in delivering inclusive, creative and effective engagement.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Establish, plan, and implement engagement and inclusion initiatives aligned with the employee value proposition, mission, vision, and values of the business.
  • Coordinate employee engagement and corporate social responsibility events for a global hybrid workforce, managing the lifecycle of the event including, logistics, communications, outreach, volunteer recruitment, and participation.
  • Partner with Internal Communications team to support internal communications that foster employee engagement and a strong company culture.
  • Support implementation of DEI strategy, including active participation in organizing Employee Resource Group initiatives, researching engagement and inclusion best practices, providing recommendations, and aligning to global programming.
  • Facilitate employee wellness programs to enhance the employee experience leading to increased employee engagement, morale, and overall job satisfaction
  • Manage measurement framework of key internal engagement and inclusion efforts to understand effectiveness to inform program improvement
  • Embed and champion best practices for engagement and inclusion within NTT GDC, its leadership and teams
  • Partner with regional leadership to drive engagement and inclusion initiatives that maintain and cultivate an enhanced employee experience.
  • Manage regional employee engagement and inclusion calendar.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration as needed to ensure effective implementation of global engagement, inclusion, and CSR strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 - 6 years of experience with emphasis on HR, employee engagement, DEI, or Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Experience in developing robust employee engagement programs and inclusive company cultures with a proven track record of success.
  • Preferred experience working globally / cross-culturally and in a matrix environment.
  • Proven ability in group facilitation and presentation skills for virtual and in person meetings and events
  • Exceptional event planning and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint, and comfortable designing presentations in PowerPoint and Canva.
  • Occasional local and domestic travel, up to 10%.
  • Ability to work hours outside normal business hours, evenings, and weekends, as necessary for employee or corporate social responsibility events.
  • Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver's license.
