The Sputter Process Engineering team plays a critical role in enabling Seagate's advanced media technologies, including HAMR and next‑generation storage solutions. We develop, control, and optimize ultra‑high vacuum sputtering processes to fabricate complex thin‑film stacks with nanometer‑scale precision. Working closely with global R&D, manufacturing, and data science teams, we translate materials science into scalable, high‑volume production, directly impacting media performance, yield, and reliability.
Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
