Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers to a variety of aircraft parts and structures.
  • Apply various paint systems, including primers, base coats, and topcoats, using spray guns and other painting tools with high precision.
  • Ensure all painting work complies with company guidelines, technical specifications, and safety regulations specific to aviation standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of painted surfaces to maintain quality control and address any inconsistencies promptly.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to understand specific job requirements and scheduling priorities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety policies.
  • Manage paint inventory efficiently and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used to support traceability and quality assurance processes.

Requirement

  • Experience in spray painting, preferably within aerospace, automotive, or industrial settings.
  • Knowledge of different types of paints, coatings, and surface preparation techniques.
  • Understanding of safety standards and environmental regulations related to paint application.
  • Attention to detail with high standards for finish quality and consistency.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn new techniques and standards.
  • Basic proficiency in English to comprehend technical documents and collaborate across teams.
