Contract Period: April 2026 to November 2027 (20 months).
Working hours:
. Mondays to Thursday: 8:30am to 6.00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
. Fridays: 8:30am to 5.30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
. Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Scope of Services:
. Works closely with the personnel from the Sports Education (SE) Unit on planning and administration of Key SE Unit events.
. Works with the relevant SE Unit workstreams and officers in-charge to plan and administer the arrangements of the following: -
i. Setting up of the Council Meeting Venues for Standing Committee and Management Committee Hybrid Meetings external stakeholders and partners
ii. Be part of the team in planning and executing the Annual General Meeting (AGM), NSG Opening Ceremony and the Colors Award Ceremony
iii. Work on the administration of the Council Recognition Awards, Colours Award Nominations and other relevant recognition awards
iv. Coordinate the venue bookings for NSG, schools and other approved external organizations
v. Work with Media partners on the NSG Live streams and student athletes interviews and features in the media
vi. Provide administrative support for SP-CCA
vii. Provide administrative support for the ASEAN Schools Game (ASG) and related events
viii. Provide administrative support for the grant provision by our
. Attend and take notes for bi-weekly unit meetings
. Attend relevant work stream meetings
. Supporting any other duties assigned by the Unit's Deputy Director or Senior Assistant Director
Qualifications, skills and experience:
. Candidates must be a Singapore Citizen.
. Relevant qualifications in Sports Management, Sports Science, or related field will be advantageous
. At least 1 year of working experience in sports event management or equivalent.
. Good organizational and coordination skills.
. Proficient in Microsoft applications and well versed in using MS Excel.
. Knowledge of AI tools would be advantageous
. Ability to work independently and in teams.
. Strong problem-solving skills.
. Ability to multi-task.
