Are you a grammar enthusiast with a sharp ear and an even sharper eye for detail If you love the English Language and can spot a misplaced comma from a mile away, we want you on our team!
We're looking for language lovers who:
- Are meticulous with detail-typos, misused words, and awkward phrasing don't stand a chance.
- Have a strong grasp of English grammar and vocabulary, including tricky word pairs like coarse vs cause and meter vs metre.
- Can understand a variety of accents thanks to excellent auditory sensitivity.
- Are reliable, focused, and eager to learn.
- Know their way around Microsoft Word.
- Can manage deadlines and juggle assignments with ease.
- Can commit at least 3 hours a day.
What You'll Do:
- Edit and refine transcripts generated by speech recognition software from legal proceedings.
- Verify terminology and context using glossaries, reference materials, and online research.
- Apply formatting and style checks based on client-specific guidelines.
- Occasionally perform manual transcription.
- Stay up to date with Epiq's transcription styles across different client profiles.
