Main Objectives of this position: - Spearhead the Region Asia - Area performance for the designated Areas. - Ensure area performance in line with Sales Delivery Management tool. - Prepare, drive and lead APM calls as per designated schedule. - Region Asia Subject Matter Expert for Sales Delivery Management tool
Function and duties:
- Responsible for coordinating relevant sales matters related to the Region.
- Drive the highest levels of quality towards our customers, be customer-oriented and create value for customers as well as for Hapag-Lloyd.
- Drive performance across designated areas within the Region by exceeding KPI Deliverables.
- Drive performance accountability across Areas through structured performance call cadences, action plans, and followthrough mechanisms.
- Establish and manage quarterly performance targets for the Region, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, and Area-level execution plans.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, standardized and efficient performance management processes.
- Continuously review sales and operational performance, analyze KPI deviations, identify opportunities and risks, and implement corrective or improvement actions.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with Trade Management, Sales, Cargo Control, Global Headquaters and Regional Sales leadership to ensure integrated execution across all performance initiatives.
- Guiding areas regarding Segmented Verticals and/or Customer Segmentation.
- Rollout relevant Sales Trainings (in coordination with BSD/HR), example; Commercial Academy, Sales soft skill & product trainings, core selling and value selling, available tools (e.g. QV, Sales Force and others), etc
- Potentially conduct or assist in Area Visits.
- Support and drive performance across all Areas within the Region by exceeding key performance indicators deliverables.
- Lead area performance calls with Areas and Trade Management with the goal of improving the regional performance
- Grow knowledge and drive area usage of Sales Delivery Management tool.
- Monitor and drive continuous performance improvement across all Sales channels
- Support and / or Implement Global, Regional and/or Area Sales performance related projects.
- Guiding Areas regarding Global, Regional and/or Area Sales performance related projects.
- Campaign Management.
- Support all sales related product rollouts.
- External and internal Communication (Hapag-Lloyd Internal Portal and team sites updates).
- Potential representation in exhibitions and fairs.
- Generate weekly performance reports for comprehensive overview of KPIs.
QualificationsQualifications and Technical Job Requirements:
- University degree and 5 years of relevant experience in the maritime industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced negotiation, decision-making and presentation skills, self-confident and friendly when dealing with others.
- Demonstrated strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, resourceful and responsive.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities, organize work and implement action items.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to take initiative and work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail, analytical, systematic and efficient way of working

- Understanding of the various sales processes.
- Able to conduct trainings with larger audiences.
Success Criteria for Position:
- Advanced in Power Point, Excel and Word.
- Proficient in English, both writing and speaking.
- Experience in Power Query, Power Pivot & Macros a plus.
- Experience in QlikView / QlikSense is a plus.
- Experience with SDM is a plus.
- Experience in Empower is a plus.
- Experience in Sales Force is a plus.
- Experience in FIS is a plus.
- Experience in front line sales is a plus.
