Specialist, IT and Operations
Job Summary
A contributing member of the Technology team within Singapore Wealth Management with a focus on manage and improve IT matters of the Bank including automation and digitalization as well as project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the execution of technology and innovation strategies to enhance business processes, delivering digital transformation initiatives in line with business stakeholders objectives.
- Provide support and participate in Local and Group Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery exercises
- Assist with the implementation and documentation of new IT tools (e.g. MIS tool),IT supported reports and workflows (e.g. Share Point, Power Platform and Macros)
- Regularly review, update and document user defined tools (UDTs) to ensure ongoing compliance with the relevant policies
- Coordinate desktop services, including user accesses management and IT requests
- Offer first level of support for T24, Folio and Zurich based systems, escalating to Global Technology where appropriate
- Coordinate, implement, monitor and support analysis of T24 constraints
- Implement and support Fee Codes, benchmarks and change requests within T24
- Coordinate matters relating to company Intranet
- Regularly review and update internal IT-related policies and procedures
- Ensure that Information Security arrangements meet regulatory standards, particularly on data security and protection
Robotic Process Automation
- Identify and consult on business processes suitable for automation and AI solutions; recommend and develop implementable solutions work with business units to understand automation requirements, identify gaps and produce functional documentation
- Develop and present proof of concept (POC) to stakeholders
- Provide timely update to senior management and relevant stakeholders
Project Management
- Work closely with various business units to identify challenges, capture business requirements, and consider solution approaches
- Ensure successful deployment of completed solutions into the production environment.
- Coordinate across business and IT Teams to deliver project deliverables
- Build and maintain key working relationships with business and IT stakeholders, facilitating formal workshops and engagement across multiple functions and locations
- Adhere to Wealth Management Change Management processes, ensure best practice for budget, status, raid (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and timeline management
Essential Skills
- Degree in IT, Finance, or other related discipline
- Ability to review, enhance and document user defined tools (UDTs) on a regular basis (ensure on-going compliance with the user defined tools policy)
- Ability to ensure appropriateness of Information Security arrangements, including regulatory requirements regarding data security
- Building key relationships with business and IT, ensuring the right level of participation/ ownership across multiple business functions/ locations in order to deliver project-related requirements. Facilitation of formal workshops with business/ IT stakeholders and senior management.
