Specialist Cloud Operations & Managed Services, Operations & Maintenance (Security)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain cybersecurity systems including firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security tools.

• Assist in identifying, investigating, and responding to security incidents, providing first-level troubleshooting and proper documentation.

• Coordinate with technology vendors for issue escalation and resolution.

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage patching activities to ensure systems remain secure.

• Support security audits by preparing logs, reports, and documentation ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with IT teams, network engineers, and other stakeholders to implement security controls and support operational needs.

• Maintain detailed documentation on security procedures, incidents, and overall cybersecurity environment.

• Lead a team of engineers to execute Day 1 (implementation) and Day 2 (operations) functions effectively.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

• Professional certifications in cybersecurity solutions preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity maintenance or IT security operations.

• Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Team-oriented with a strong customer service mindset.

• Experience in one or more cybersecurity domains such as Endpoint Protection, Network Security, or Identity and Access Management (IAM).

• CISSP or equivalent certification is an advantage.

• Operational experience in Container Security and Key Management is a plus.
