Job Description
- Develop music lesson plans and resources
- Teach practical techniques, music theory, rhythm, and performance skills specific to the chosen instrument
- Assess, document, and communicate the development, progress and attainment of students
- Plan, organise and coordinate department and school programmes
- Maintain positive teacher-student relationship
- Monitor students social and emotional well-being
- Work with parents and relevant stakeholders, if necessary
- Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective function of the work unit
- Guide and coach Teacher Aides supporting music lessons
Job Requirements
- Recognised Degree or Diploma in Music Education (Preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching music
- Preferably able to work with students with Autism
- Excellent team-player
