Job Details
Title: Special Aide/Chief of Staff
Workplace: Private residence in Tanglin area
Working days/hours: 6 days a week from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm one rest day per week
Salary: Between $5,000 and $6,000
Annual Leave: 14 days
Medical leave and benefits will be provided
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Household staff management:
- Supervising and coordinating the work of domestic staff such as maids, cleaners, gardeners, outside vendors, etc.
- Reviewing domestic maids daily schedules to ensure assigned tasks, timelines and any special instructions for the day are met. It is important to spend a few minutes at the start and end of each day to review the schedules with the domestic maids. This would provide an opportunity to clarify expectations and make adjustments for the following day.
- Providing clear and consistent guidance to domestic maids to ensure that work is on track, and to manage priorities and address any unexpected changes or challenges that may arise.
- Ensuring that every task is completed to a high standard and on time by constant monitoring, feedback and addressing any gaps or delays promptly.
Household Management:
- Planning and overseeing daily household tasks, schedules, and routines to maintain organisation and efficiency to ensure a well-run household. Conduct daily briefing and de-briefing to household maids on daily and next day's schedule, or any specific events/tasks.
- Managing household finances, including creating and maintaining budgets, paying bills, and tracking expenses.
- Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the household, including managing repairs, renovations, and maintenance schedules.
- Assisting with wardrobe organisation, clothing care, and wardrobe maintenance, including maintenance of proper clothing inventory, coordinating dry cleaning and alterations.
Personalised Service:
- Providing personalised and attentive service to the homeowner such as running errands and handling special requests.
- Assisting with organising and hosting events, parties, and gatherings at the residence or external venues, including coordinating guest lists, catering, and entertainment.
- Ensuring the strict confidentiality and privacy of the household and its occupants
- Ensuring prompt response to their messages or calls, and to provide timely updates on assigned responsibilities.
- Coordinating daily activities.
- Scheduling logistical support.
Job requirements
. At least a university degree or its equivalent though the former is preferred
. At least 5 years of experience in 5 star hotel management or its equivalent
. Experience serving and working at VIP's residence has an advantage
. Service excellence and attention to details like those of special aide is critical.
. Great communication and interpersonal skills
. Strong team player, possesses leadership skills and able to multi-task
. Ability to start immediately
