About The Role:

CBRE is seeking an experienced and driven Security Manager to join our APAC team, overseeing security operations across the Southeast Asia region. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and security of our client's personnel, assets, and reputation. Reporting to the Regional Security Director, the successful candidate will collaborate with regional peers, manage country-level security leaders, and work closely with facilities managers and engineers across the account.

What You'll Do:

As the Southeast Asia Security Manager, you will lead a sub-regional team to deliver a resilient and efficient security operations program. Your core responsibilities include:


  • Supporting account leadership in meeting compliance, commercial, and quality objectives related to security operations, including manned guarding and the Regional Operations Centre.
  • Overseeing the implementation and management of security services across assigned countries, ensuring alignment with client policies, standards, and procedures to minimize business disruption.
  • Driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen risk mitigation and operational effectiveness.
  • Managing the Regional Operations Centre, with responsibility for travel security, crisis response, and incident management across the region.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ensuring timely response to incidents, outages, investigations, and maintenance activities to minimize business impact.
  • Providing subject matter expertise in security operations, ensuring compliance with regional regulations and best practices.
  • Recommending and integrating technology solutions that enhance security operations and add value to the client.
  • Assisting in planning, budgeting, procurement, and management of physical and infrastructure security systems.
  • Managing key supplier relationships across the North Asia region.
  • Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and key documentation.
  • Conducting regular performance reviews with the CBRE regional and country security leadership team, client representatives, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Management and execution of projects across operational and technical security spaces.
  • Utilising technical security knowledge to drive operational efficiency.
  • Preparing and distributing regular program status reports.
  • Reviewing and enhancing training programs to support succession planning and operational readiness.
  • Playing an active role in regional and local crisis management planning and response.
  • Demonstrating detailed knowledge of both physical and technical security to deliver a holistic and seamless service to the client.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Security, Law Enforcement, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading corporate security operations, preferably within the banking or financial sector and across the APAC region.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead and deliver initiatives across both operational and technical security domains.
  • Strong technical security knowledge, with the capability to support project delivery and collaborate effectively with IT and technical security teams within CBRE and client organizations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of security technologies, including access control systems and video surveillance solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Superior written and spoken English; fluency in an additional regional language is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor contract management, budgeting, and maintaining a robust professional network within the security industry.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Hands-on experience in incident response and crisis management.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and promote cross-cultural teamwork.
  • Proficient in developing security metrics and conducting trend analysis.
  • Experience in designing and delivering effective security awareness training programs.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel across the region as needed.
