We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team!
As a Sous Chef, we rely on you to:
- Support daily menu planning and design and/or also for outlet assigned
- Ensure a high quality of food & beverage is provided at all times
- Assist in supervising the daily operation of the kitchen
- Maximize profitability for the outlet and effective cost management
- Support the Executive Sous Chef on daily operation
- Maintain and implement hygiene standards
- Controls production according to projected covers
We are looking for someone who:
- Must have experience working in either a restaurant or a hotel/resort environment
- Knowledgeable in various specialisation of cooking / food preparations i.e. Hot Local/Western sections.
- Experiences in a la carte menu planing and managing events
- Strong knowledge in Food Hygiene and Sanitation, compliance with regulations.
- Experience in outside catering event is an added advantage
- Willing to work shifts
