Job Description

Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa, Singapore

We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team!

As a Sous Chef, we rely on you to:

  • Support daily menu planning and design and/or also for outlet assigned
  • Ensure a high quality of food & beverage is provided at all times
  • Assist in supervising the daily operation of the kitchen
  • Maximize profitability for the outlet and effective cost management
  • Support the Executive Sous Chef on daily operation
  • Maintain and implement hygiene standards
  • Controls production according to projected covers

We are looking for someone who:

  • Must have experience working in either a restaurant or a hotel/resort environment
  • Knowledgeable in various specialisation of cooking / food preparations i.e. Hot Local/Western sections.
  • Experiences in a la carte menu planing and managing events
  • Strong knowledge in Food Hygiene and Sanitation, compliance with regulations.
  • Experience in outside catering event is an added advantage
  • Willing to work shifts
