Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute simple, fast Western-style menus that wow our customers
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Lead a team of kitchen staff and manage schedules to ensure smooth service
- Ensure food safety and hygiene protocols are followed to the highest standard
- Create and plate dishes that are both delicious and visually stunning
- Maintain kitchen organization and standards, including inventory management and equipment maintenance
- Assist with menu development, specials, and promotions
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to improve skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with Head Chef and team to achieve culinary goals
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a Western-style kitchen
- Proven track record of culinary excellence and creativity
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols a must
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
