Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to maintain high standards.
- Monitor food quality, consistency, and portion control.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Work closely with the team to ensure consistency, creativity, and excellence in every plate.
Requirements:
- Minimum 35 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a comparable role within a professional kitchen.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong team management skills.
- Solid understanding of culinary techniques and overall kitchen operations.
- Capable of performing well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and excellent organizational skills.
