Responsibilities
- Sourcing of distributors in APAC to provide competitive pricings for Electronics Parts.
- Provide alternate sourcing capabilities.
- Establish good supplier base to support company in terms of pricing/quality/lead time.
- Managing OEM activities.
- Knowledge and contacts in OEM channels to source for Electronics Parts.
- Handles all sourcing and supplier quality assessment.
- Develop and foster relationships with suppliers while driving lower costs, superior performance and continuous improvement.
- Negotiate and review supply agreements.
- Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork
- Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct
- It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications
- 7 to 10 years of working experience in sourcing.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin, and/or other Asian language.
- Excellent people skills, project management skills, good business acumen and a team player.
- High Integrity, Responsible, Proactive and result oriented.
- Able to multi-task and work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Computer literate, Competent in Microsoft Excel.
- Able to travel domestically from time to time.
- Must be able to complete job responsibilities while working in a global time zone. Attendance of late night/early morning meetings by phone and/or web to meet global business needs will be required.
- Degree in electronics or supply chain management.
