Responsibilities:
Oversees Material and Purchasing activities in Singapore.
Planning and scheduling of material movement for manufacturing operation.
Responsible for all direct purchase cost saving program.
Responsible for negotiating, sourcing and handling all direct purchasing matters.
Liaise with customers and internally to ensure customer requirements are well-communicated and on-time deliveries are met.
Assist and ensure the subordinates doing their job correctly and effectively.
Cost centre to monitor manufacturing activities and keep cost competitive.
Other Ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Material Management.
Minimum 3 years of experience in storage and manufacturing.
In-depth knowledge of inventory ERP structural and supply chain management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently.
Comfortable to work at East area, Changi South.
