Responsibilities
- Perform clinical ultrasound imaging following established protocols and standards. Assist medical professionals during ultrasound-guided procedures to ensure accuracy and safety. Oversee daily operations of the ultrasound department, ensuring proper maintenance and usage of equipment. Implement and uphold quality assurance programs for imaging accuracy and patient safety. Deliver timely and precise imaging results to facilitate informed clinical decision-making. Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism to ensure a positive experience. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service quality for both patients and staff. Optimize patient flow to reduce wait times and improve departmental efficiency. Plan and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining workflow. Comply with safety protocols and infection control measures in all operations.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), or equivalent qualification. Accredited certification in Medical Ultrasonography (e.g., Diploma, Degree, or Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasonography - DMU) from recognized institutions. Preferred certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Relevant experience in diagnostic imaging and ultrasound practices is required.
