Job Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality images for interpretation by physicians.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
- Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns or questions they may have.
- Document and report findings accurately in patient records and maintain confidentiality.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in sonography techniques and technology.
- Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
