Solutions Engineer

Join a dynamic team as a Solutions Engineer, where you'll create innovative customer solutions in physical connectivity, ensuring seamless power, data, and signal transfer.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers through face-to-face meetings, working closely with the Sales Team and Key Account Managers. Analyze customer technical challenges and develop tailored technical solutions. Design connectivity solutions focusing on cable harness systems. Collaborate with a global team of engineers to formulate and refine technical solutions aligned with customer requirements. Produce technical drawings and collaborate with the Sales Team on commercial proposals. Oversee project management from development through to handover to Operations based on complexity. Guide new product introductions for complex and key accounts from conception to production, in conjunction with the Project Manager. Stay informed on the latest technologies and enhancements in products, processes, and manufacturing. Enhance and manage the solutions portfolio, improving workflows and tools to optimize connectivity offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Microtechnology, Electrical Engineering, or related fields). Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience. Background in new product development is advantageous. Experience in customer-facing roles is essential. Familiarity with CAD software and ERP software (SAP) is preferred. Knowledge in areas such as connectivity, cable technology, electronics, signal integrity, or fiber optics is a plus. Strong communication skills to build and maintain trust with customers. Team-oriented with robust problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
