Job Description

The primary role of a Solution Consultant is to support the sales team by handling the technical aspects of the sales cycle, moving from initial technical discovery to post-sale implementation handoff.

  • Technical Discovery: Meeting with prospects to understand their pain points, current technical architecture, and business goals.
  • Tailored Demos & Presentations: Developing and presenting customized software demonstrations that showcase how the product solves the client's specific issues.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) & Validation: Building and executing PoCs to demonstrate feasibility, ensuring the solution works in the client's unique environment.
  • Solution Design & Architecture: Creating technical, architectural diagrams and documentation to map out how the new technology will integrate into the client's existing systems.
  • Technical Objection Handling: Answering complex, in-depth technical questions and overcoming technical roadblocks during negotiations.
  • RFP Support: Assisting with Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, technical documentation, and security questionnaires.
  • Internal Product Advocacy: Providing feedback from clients to the product and engineering teams to inform product roadmap improvements.
  • Customer Onboarding: Ensuring a smooth transition from the sales process to implementation, reducing post-sale friction.

Requirement

  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of software, SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP), API integrations, and database technologies.
  • Communication & Presentation: Ability to translate technical jargon into business value for non-technical stakeholders (e.g., CFOs).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and design custom, efficient solutions.
  • Sales Acumen: Understanding of the sales cycle, objection handling, and strategic positioning.
  • Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering, Infocomm Security/Cybersecurity
  • At least 5 year of working experience with system integrator, managed services provider, video surveillance and smart workplace solution integrator
