Responsibilities:
- Architect End-to-End Solutions: Define and maintain the architectural vision across systems, ensuring designs and implementations meet enterprise standards, performance expectations, and long-term goals.
- Translate Requirements into Technical Designs: Analyze business needs, including scalability, resiliency, and functional requirements, and convert them into clear architecture specifications and design artifacts.
- Technology Advisory & Recommendations: Evaluate and recommend platforms, tools, and technologies that support digital transformation, cloud strategies, and enterprise standards. Guide adoption of emerging technologies, including cloud-native architectures, APIs, and containerized solutions.
- Blueprinting & Governance: Create comprehensive architecture blueprints covering business processes, data flows, application components, and infrastructure. Ensure governance, compliance, and alignment with organizational strategies.
- Technical Review & Quality Assurance: Participate in solution reviews, code inspections, and assessments. Identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and ensure systems are robust, secure, and maintainable.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with technical leads, engineers, product teams, and stakeholders. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and influence decisions with structured reasoning. Support teams in overcoming technical challenges for smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, System Architect, or Technical Lead with end-to-end project lifecycle expertise.
- Strong hands-on knowledge in .NET and/or Java (J2EE) technologies, server-side development, SOA principles, microservices, integration patterns, and web services.
- Advanced skills in data modeling and SQL.
- Ability to analyze complex requirements and design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and guide teams.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities across projects and teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise architecture, cloud-based systems, and legacy modernization.
- Knowledge of government or enterprise architecture standards (e.g., SG Tech Stack).
- Practical experience in large-scale system design, integration, and technical governance.
