We are partnered with an established organisation to hire an IT Solution Architect to drive automation and digital transformation across supply chain operations. This role focuses heavily on integrating application systems with warehouse automation and IoT technologies to build a connected, data-driven ecosystem.
You will design end-to-end solutions across applications and automation platforms. You will work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and engineering teams to deliver scalable and secure systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and integrate automation systems such as AGVs, AMRs, RFID, IoT devices, and smart lockers
- Ensure seamless data flow between automation platforms and enterprise systems
- Work with vendors and system integrators to deliver reliable and scalable solutions
- Establish secure IT and OT integration for monitoring and operations
- Design and build supply chain applications including dashboards, tracking systems, and workflows
- Architect integrations across WMS, ERP, SAP, and automation platforms
- Define APIs and data flows across systems
- Deliver solutions using modern stacks such as Python, .NET, Node.js, React or Angular
- Design and deploy solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Manage containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement CI CD pipelines and ensure deployment reliability
- Build data pipelines and event-driven architectures
- Enable reporting and analytics using tools such as Power BI
- Ensure data consistency and governance across systems

Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or system integration
- Proven experience designing end-to-end systems across applications and integration layers
- Strong experience in automation, IoT, or system integration environments
- Hands-on experience with Python, .NET, Node.js, or similar technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Experience working with automation technologies such as RFID, IoT, or robotics is a plus
- Experience in supply chain or logistics is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and explain technical designs
