- Lead the design and deployment of cloud-native and microservices-based architectures using Kubernetes (EKS) and serverless services such as AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Design and govern networking and security architectures, including VPC design, IAM, WAF, GuardDuty, and hybrid connectivity (e.g., Direct Connect).
- Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using HashiCorp Terraform Enterprise, including workspace design, policy enforcement, and lifecycle management.
- Design and operate highly available HashiCorp Vault clusters for secrets management, PKI, and secure service-to-service authentication.
- Champion DevOps and DevSecOps best practices through CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using tools such as CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, and Prometheus.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define solution roadmaps, migration strategies, and proof-of-concepts.
- Conduct architecture and code reviews, enforce security standards, and drive automation of testing and security controls.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, and present architectural decisions and solutions to senior stakeholders and executives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and solution design, with deep hands-on expertise in AWS.
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking, security, and data services, including VPC peering, Direct Connect, S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, and Redshift.
- Proven experience with the HashiCorp ecosystem, particularly Terraform Enterprise and Vault in clustered, production environments.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), containerization (Docker), and deployment tooling (Helm).
- Solid understanding of observability and monitoring stacks such as ELK, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Strong DevOps/DevSecOps background, including GitOps, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and automation using Python or Bash.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to align technical solutions to business objectives and deliver in agile environments.
