We are seeking an experienced Solution Designer / Business Analyst to lead the design and analysis of scalable, cloud-native solutions across our telecommunications platforms. This role sits at the intersection of business, technology, and delivery, translating complex business requirements into robust, end-to-end solution designs across BSS/OSS, CRM, billing, and digital channels.
The ideal candidate brings deep telco domain expertise, strong solution architecture capabilities, and excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate in high-volume, fast-paced digital environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution design for complex telco initiatives across digital, BSS/OSS, CRM, and billing platforms.
- Define cloud-native, API-led, and event-driven architectures, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security.
- Design system integration patterns leveraging APIs, middleware, microservices, and data platforms.
- Produce high-quality solution artifacts including:
- Architecture and integration diagrams
- Functional and non-functional specifications
- Data models and interface contracts
- Migration and transition architectures
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document requirements aligned to strategic objectives.
- Translate business needs into clear functional designs and technical requirements.
- Assess impacts across upstream and downstream systems, particularly within telco operation workflows (order management, provisioning, charging, assurance).
- Provide solution leadership across BSS/OSS ecosystems, including CRM, billing, charging, order management, inventory, and assurance systems.
- Ensure solutions align with telecom industry standards and best practices.
- Support modernization initiatives such as legacy system transformation and platform migrations.
- Act as a key link between business, IT, vendors, and delivery teams.
- Present solution designs to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
- Support development teams through design clarifications, reviews, and solution assurance.
- Work closely with project managers and product owners to ensure on-time and quality delivery.
Key Requirements
Experience
- 8–12+ years of experience in solution architecture, solution design, or senior business analysis roles.
- Strong preference for experience in telecommunications or high-volume digital platforms.
- Proven experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale solutions in regulated or mission-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of:
- Cloud-native architectures (public cloud, containerisation, microservices)
- APIs and integration middleware
- Data modelling and information architecture
- Hands-on experience with BSS/OSS, CRM, billing, or telecom operations support systems.
- Ability to produce detailed architecture and design documentation using industry-standard tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams.
