Job Summary
The Solution Consultant is a customer-facing role responsible for supporting solution design, implementation, and customer engagement, while developing the ability to independently handle solution discussions and contribute to deal progression.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers to gather and analyze business and technical requirements to inform solution design
- Support the design, demonstration, and preparation of proposals for software solutions
- Perform hands-on implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software applications to meet customer needs
- Assist in scoping change requests and estimating effort to support project planning
- Respond to customer queries by providing timely and effective technical support
- Translate customer requirements into workable solutions under guidance to ensure alignment with business goals
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and deliver successful project outcomes
- Support pre-sales discussions and contribute to opportunity progression by providing technical insights
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software implementation, support, or related roles
- Basic to intermediate understanding of systems architecture, SQL, and application frameworks
- Proven hands-on experience in troubleshooting and configuring software systems
- Effective communication skills to engage customers and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated strong learning mindset and problem-solving ability to adapt and resolve issues
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
