Solution Architect - Workday Financials Functional

Job Title: Workday Financials Functional Solution Architect

1. 10–15 years of relevant ERP and functional solution architecture experience,
2. Strong expertise in Workday Financials functional solution architecture, implementation, and configuration.
3. Lead functional solution design aligned with business requirements, enterprise architecture, and Workday best practices.
4. Manage Workday Financials modules, including Financial Accounting (FINACCT), Customers, Procurement, Business Assets, Banking Settlement, and Projects.
5. Conduct business requirement analysis, fit-gap assessments, solution design, and functional process mapping.
6. Lead end-to-end implementation activities, including configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
7. Strong understanding of financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and asset management.
8. Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, report development, extensions, and system enhancements.
9. Leverage Workday configurable reporting and standard SaaS capabilities to deliver effective business solutions.
10. Provide functional guidance across SAP FICO, MM, PP, and Oracle AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, PO, and OM, where applicable.
11. Manage project teams, vendors, timelines, risks, and delivery milestones to ensure successful implementation.
12. Work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive process optimisation.
13. Demonstrated leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are essential.
14. PMP certification and consulting experience with Big Four firms, Accenture, IBM, or similar organisations are advantageous.
