We are representing our client in the global technology and engineering space to look for an experienced Solution Architect to join them. This role requires a blend of architectural leadership, deep technical expertise, and strong collaboration with enterprise software OEMs (ServiceNow, SAS, Elastic, AWS, Azure, Google, and more).
As the Solution Architect, you will lead the technical solutioning for major government transformation projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to create scalable, reusable, and modular architectures. You will ensure seamless integration of enterprise platforms, drive innovation with AI-enabled solutions, and support the digital government vision of Singapore.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Solution Design
- Lead the solution architecture design for enterprise-grade digital applications, including workflow systems, case management, portals, and data platforms.
- Align solutions with Singapore's digital government frameworks, such as GCC, Zero Trust, and IM8, ensuring compatibility and security.
- Ensure that solutions are scalable, reusable, modular, and support the government's digital transformation goals.
- Collaborate with the BU leadership team to define technical strategy, roadmap, and deliverables.
OEM Partnerships & Platform Integration
- Work closely with enterprise software OEMs to design, co-create, and integrate solutions that are aligned with both external and internal architecture standards.
- Oversee integrations of third-party platforms, ensuring seamless operation within the government's existing technology stack.
- Ensure that the solutions are aligned with the evolving needs of government stakeholders and adhere to strict security and compliance requirements.
Programme Delivery Excellence
- Lead the technical delivery for complex, multi-agency systems integrations, offering guidance on problem-solving and addressing technical escalations.
- Oversee the technical aspects of solution deployment and go-live, ensuring smooth handover to support teams.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior government stakeholders, ensuring that solutions align with their strategic goals and digital transformation agenda.
- Maintain relationships with external customers, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure that the business unit's solutions consistently deliver value.
Requirements
- 10+ years of proven leadership in solution architecture, enterprise software delivery, public-sector projects, or digital transformation.
- Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise application platforms, with an emphasis on complex systems integration and multi-agency solutions.
- Extensive experience in building and nurturing partnerships with enterprise software providers (OEMs).
- Deep understanding of government frameworks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), security standards, and enterprise integration.
- Agile and DevSecOps certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe, PMP) are preferred.
- Experience with AI-enabled solutions, cloud-based platforms, and digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
- Strategic Leadership & Vision: Ability to define and execute long-term technical strategies and architectural visions.
- Solution Design & Governance: Expertise in managing complex solution designs and ensuring architecture standards are met.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to engage with government stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- OEM Partnership Management: Proven experience working with enterprise software vendors, managing relationships, and co-developing solutions.
- Results-Oriented & High Integrity: Proven track record of driving business outcomes while maintaining accountability and transparency.
