Job Summary
We are looking for a Solution Architect who combines strong technical architecture skills with business analysis experience. This hybrid role involves designing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions while ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technical solutions that meet business needs and comply with enterprise standards to ensure scalability, security, and performance
- Define system architecture, integration patterns, and technology stack to support business objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural blueprints
- Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes and new solutions to assess feasibility and risks
- Guide development teams on implementation best practices and review technical designs to recommend optimizations
- Ensure compliance with architectural principles and governance frameworks throughout project lifecycles
- Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and solution roadmaps to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Support testing and validation of solutions to ensure quality and alignment with requirements
- Participate in project planning by providing accurate effort estimates and technical input
- Cooperate with employers and follow safety and health procedures under the WSH Act to maintain a safe workplace
- Report unsafe acts and incidents and avoid tampering with safety devices or performing reckless acts
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support organizational goals
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect with exposure to business analysis
- Strong understanding of SDLC, integration patterns, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Proficiency in API design, data modeling, and enterprise architecture frameworks including TOGAF
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience in requirements elicitation, process modeling, and functional specification writing
- Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, DevOps practices, and security standards
- Experience with ERP, HR systems, accounting systems, customized applications, or cloud migration projects
- Knowledge of data analytics tools such as Power BI and SQL for reporting
