What You'll Really Be Doing
Your role focuses on three core responsibilities:
- Architect EnterpriseGrade ServiceNow Solutions
You will own the
endtoend solution architecture across ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, ITAM/SAM, CMDB/CSDM, App Engine, and related domains.
You'll define:
- Targetstate architectures
- Platform and security standards
- Integration and data models
- Scalable, upgradesafe design patterns
Your decisions will directly impact platform health, longterm maintainability, and business outcomes.
- Lead Technical Direction and Delivery
You won't just designyou'll
lead the technical direction.
You'll:
- Run solutioning and fitgap workshops
- Translate business needs into architectural designs and stories
- Guide teams on configuration vs. customization
- Review designs and ensure quality, governance, and best practices
You act as the
architecture authority, ensuring delivery teams build the right solution the right way.
- Own Integration, Data, and CMDB Strategy
You'll architect and govern
enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and eventdriven patterns, connecting ServiceNow with critical thirdparty systems.
You'll also lead
data and CMDB strategy, including:
- CSDMaligned data models
- AssettoCI relationships
- Discovery, service mapping, and dependency modeling
This ensures ServiceNow becomes a
single source of truth, not just another tool.

Required Skills And Experience
- 10+ years of ServiceNow experience, including senior technical or solution architecture roles in enterprise environments.
- Strong architectural expertise across core ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, ITAM/SAM, CMDB/CSDM, and App Engine.
- Proven experience designing enterprisescale, upgradesafe ServiceNow solutions, including platform governance, security/ACL models, and architectural standards.
- Handson integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and thirdparty system integrations.
- Strong data and CMDB foundation, including CSDM alignment, CI modeling, and service/asset relationships.
- Ability to act as an architecture authority, influencing technical teams and engaging confidently with senior stakeholders.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, and CIS (ITSM, CSM, HAM/SAM).
- ITIL v3 and/or ITIL v4 certification.
- Experience with App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Process Automation Designer (PAD), and Virtual Agent/NLU.
- Background delivering solutions in large enterprise or regulated industries (e.g., Telecom, Pharma, Insurance, Media).
- Cloud or platform modernization exposure, including IBM ecosystems or legacy platform transformations.
