Job Summary

Lead engineering efforts to design, implement, and optimize Azure-based cloud solutions with a focus on DevSecOps, AI integration, and infrastructure automation to drive enterprise innovation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure platform services to meet enterprise requirements
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Azure Bicep or Terraform to automate deployments and ensure consistency
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub to enable continuous integration and delivery of software
• Apply DevSecOps practices to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle and infrastructure management
• Integrate AI/ML platform services on Azure to enhance application capabilities and support AI-assisted development tools
• Manage enterprise identity integration using Active Directory to ensure secure and seamless access control
• Produce clear, comprehensive documentation and communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with AI application platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, and AI governance frameworks
• Ability to build developer portals, internal platforms, platform APIs, self-service workflows, or engineering templates
• Familiarity with public sector cloud environments, government security standards, or regulated enterprise settings
• Knowledge of observability, site reliability engineering (SRE) practices, incident response automation, and tools like Microsoft Sentinel
• Understanding of FinOps principles, cloud cost optimization, total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling, and cost accountability
• Exposure to engineering productivity tools including Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Azure DevOps, ShipHATS, and Copilot
