Technical Architect / Senior Architect (Exchange / FIX API)
Responsibilities
- Lead overall technical architecture design for exchange systems (crypto or traditional), covering matching, clearing, market data, and risk control.
- Own end-to-end design and optimization of FIX API, including protocol specs, interface design, documentation, and integration for institutional clients/liquidity providers.
- Drive architecture upgrades to improve scalability, security, and system performance.
- Lead solution reviews and coordinate engineering, QA, and ops teams to deliver architecture implementation.
- Establish technical standards and guide development teams on architecture best practices.
- Track industry trends (blockchain, distributed systems, financial protocols) and apply to business needs.
- Partner with compliance and risk teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
Requirements
- 10+ years in software engineering/architecture, including 3+ years in Binance / exchange / securities / trading platform environments.
- Strong experience in exchange core systems: matching, clearing, market data, risk control.
- Hands-on architecture design for distributed and high-concurrency systems.
- Must have direct experience designing and implementing FIX API (FIX 4.4+).
- Strong coding background in Java / Go / C++.
- Familiar with middleware (cache, MQ, database clusters) blockchain knowledge preferred.
- Strong understanding of exchange operations, financial regulations, and technical compliance.
- Preferred: experience in core exchange systems and overseas exchange environments.
