Software Tester - Permanent Role

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and user stories to create test cases, scenarios, and test data

• Perform manual testing to ensure applications meet functional and business requirements

• Identify, log, and track defects clearly and accurately

• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve product quality

• Test applications even when documentation is incomplete and highlight potential risks

• View issues from an end-user perspective and suggest improvements to user experience

• Maintain test documentation and support continuous improvement of QA processes

• Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Basic understanding of SDLC and software testing principles

• Ability to analyze requirements and design test scenarios

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

• Team player with a positive learning attitude

• 1-2 years of software testing experience is an advantage

• Exposure to automation tools (e.g. Selenium) or scripting (e.g. Python) is a plus
