Responsibilities
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to ensure system reliability, accuracy, and compliance across transaction processing and customer lifecycle workflows.
- Execute functional, integration, and user acceptance testing across payment systems
- Validate end-to-end workflows including onboarding, transaction processing, billing, fraud controls, and account management
- Perform testing on transaction messaging flows and backend processing logic
- Support certification and compliance testing with external networks and partners
- Investigate defects, coordinate resolution, and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Work closely with development, business, and QA teams to ensure alignment on testing scope and outcomes
- Develop and execute test cases, and maintain documentation using standard tools
- Perform data validation and analysis using database queries
- Support system integration testing using APIs and related tools
- Contribute to reporting, documentation, and go-live readiness activities.
Requirements
- Experience in payment or transaction-based systems
- Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, account structures, and financial workflows
- Familiarity with testing tools, defect tracking systems, and API testing
- Working knowledge of SQL or similar for data validation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
