Job Title: Software Test Engineer (E-Payment Systems)

About the Role
We are looking for a Test Engineer for one of our esteemed clients to manage end-to-end testing of an integrated e-payment system, ensuring system quality through functional, performance, and basic security testing while advancing automation and DevSecOps integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities for integrated e-payment systems across the full software development lifecycle.
• Plan, analyze requirements, prepare test environments, design test cases, and execute tests with comprehensive reporting.
• Develop, automate, and optimize test solutions using scripting or programming languages, including performance tuning.
• Establish and maintain requirements traceability, identify coverage gaps, and ensure complete test validation.
• Log, track, and manage defects through resolution, including conducting root cause analysis for production and UAT issues.
• Facilitate test reviews with internal and external stakeholders and continuously improve testing effectiveness.
• Design documentation and implement automated testing pipelines within DevSecOps frameworks to integrate functional, performance, and basic security testing throughout development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in test execution and test automation development, including systems involving UI-based/embedded devices and/or back-office platforms.
• Strong knowledge of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Professional software testing certification (e.g., ISTQB) is preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred / Advantageous Experience

• Experience in micro-payments systems and exposure to SIT, UAT, and performance testing phases.
• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps and testing tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Xray, GitLab CI/CD), including API security automation and microservices security validation.

• Salary: $5,000 - $7,200 per month
