Responsibility
- Provide hands-on technical leadership within Agile scrum teams to design, develop, test, and deliver software that controls advanced DNA sequencing and genotyping instruments.
- Lead software architecture, design, and implementation activities to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions aligned with product and business objectives.
- Actively participate in the full Agile development lifecycle, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects and technical issues in a timely and structured manner.
- Drive software design and code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering best practices, coding standards, testability, maintainability, and product quality expectations.
- Coordinate effectively with local and remote team members to promote clear communication, technical alignment, knowledge sharing, and timely execution across distributed development activities.
Qualification
- Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, preferably C#, with a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
- Deep experience designing, developing, and maintaining asynchronous .NET applications in production-quality environments.
- Experience designing and implementing REST-based services and APIs.
- Experience with front-end technologies and/or front-end frameworks, such as Angular and React.
- Experience with writing well-structured unit test codes.
- Ability to produce clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code that meets product requirements and long-term support needs.
