What you'll achieve
As an AI Infra and Platform Engineer Software Senior Engineer, you will lead the development of Dell's Private Cloud solutions. You will work with cutting-edge technologies such as microservices, virtualization/container, edge computing, and cloud-based management while leveraging AI-assisted software development processes and tools. This role will provide you with valuable experience in building next-generation HCI products alongside global talent, helping us win together with our customers.

You will:

• Lead the implementation of high-quality, complex systems and software and drive the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and systems

• Utilize AI-assisted tools, processes, and workflows to complete feature-level development and testing

• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions

• Lead code reviews and establish code quality standards and document technical designs and implementation details for team knowledge sharing

• Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical architecture discussions

Essential Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical domain with 4+ years of experience as a software developer

• Solid coding experience with Python/Go, scripting languages on Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems

• Comprehensive experience with complete development, testing, and delivery cycles in virtualization, Kubernetes, container, and cloud environments

• Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, three-tier architecture, computing, networking, storage concepts, and infrastructure

• Proven track record of executing and delivering complex tasks on time with high quality and extensive experience developing within large scale distributed systems

Desirable Requirements

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools or code agents to complete feature-level development and testing, advanced expertise with Tools and Infrastructure Services - Ansible, Shell Scripts, TeamCity, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana Active Directory, LDAP, logging, monitoring, alerting, remote access (SSH)

• Deep hands-on experience with microservices architecture patterns and REST APIs, comprehensive understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services, advanced experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development practices and experience with system design and architecture decisions
