Software Engineer - webMethods & B2B Integration (E-Invoicing)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Software AG webMethods Developer to design, support, and enhance our enterprise E-Invoice integration platform. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining robust B2B document exchanges, ensuring compliance with electronic invoicing frameworks, and guaranteeing high availability for mission-critical financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust e-invoice integration flows, mappings, and transformations using Software AG webMethods.
• Handle secure file transfers (SFTP) and implement data security using PGP/GPG file processing.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and resolve integration failures swiftly.
• Monitor, manage, and support scheduled workflows via Control-M.
• Translate business and statutory requirements into XML, UBL, and Peppol message structures.
• Deploy releases across UAT and Production environments while collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on software engineering experience specializing in middleware integration and enterprise application support.

Core Technical Expertise:

• Strong mastery of Software AG webMethods Integration Server and webMethods Designer
• Proficient in developing and debugging Flow Services, mappings, transformations, and complex exception handling.
• Deep familiarity with XML, XSD, and UBL data formats.

Infrastructure & Data Skills:

• Hands-on experience with SFTP and PGP/GPG encryption protocols.
• Strong SQL skills for relational database troubleshooting and data tracing.
• Experience with Control-M job scheduling and monitoring.
• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Peppol e-invoicing standards, EN16931, or Singapore e-invoice (InvoiceNow) frameworks.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical mind for troubleshooting, strong documentation habits, and effective stakeholder communication.
