Job Description & Requirements
- Daily monitoring and support of batch jobs.
- Perform hotfixes as and when required.
- Perform monthly deployments and quarterly DB password change.
- Perform assessment and scheduling of batch jobs due to system maintenance activities.
- Provide first level support to business users in a timely, effective, and efficient manner.
- Report to the Project Manager pertaining all production support activities.
- Participate in system maintenance activities at odd hours when required including midnights, weekends and public holidays.
- 2-3 years of experience in customer support within an IT environment
- Polytechnic or University graduate with IT background
- Knowledge and hands-on experience on Unix
- Knowledge on messaging systems such as IBM Websphere MQ (good to have)
- Knowledge in Java language
- Good Oracle SQL knowledge
- Availability to work odd hours when required
