Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (System) to design, develop and maintain enterprise applications. The role involves requirements analysis, full SDLC delivery, application support and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders. Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, microservices and cloud technologies is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business and system requirements.
• Design, develop, maintain and enhance enterprise software applications.
• Prepare SDLC documentation, including requirements, architecture, design, testing and operational documents.
• Provide application support and troubleshoot system issues.
• Liaise with users and stakeholders on requirements, design and testing.
• Collaborate with back-office development teams to deliver high-volume, performance-intensive software solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in Java/JEE, Spring/Spring Boot, web applications, JDBC and SQL.
• Experience across the full SDLC, including requirements, design, development, testing and documentation.
• Experience with Agile/CI-CD, microservices, containerization and software modernization.
• Knowledge of Message Queues, Cloud, Kubernetes and Docker AWS experience is an advantage.
• Experience in database design, development and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS ECS/Fargate, RDS or Lambda.
• Experience with high-volume, performance-intensive enterprise applications.
• Experience in payment systems or financial technology is an advantage.
