We are looking for a Software Engineer (Navigation) to design, develop, and maintain SESTO Robotics navigation stack for Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable robot navigation, seamless system communications, and smooth deployment and support for customers.
Own and maintain the SESTO Navigation stack and related services.
Design, implement, and continuously improve navigation algorithms for mobile robots.
Develop and maintain communication logic and protocols between robots and external systems.
Coordinate with software, hardware, and systems teams to ensure robust end-to-end integration.
Support the Maintenance Team in troubleshooting and resolving navigation-related issues for existing customers.
Assist the Deployment Team during on-site or remote deployments for new customers.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on navigation-related topics.
Diagnose, debug, and optimize navigation performance in real-world environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong experience in navigation algorithms for mobile robots (e.g. localization, mapping, path planning).
Experience working with robotics middleware such as ROS / ROS2.
