[What the role is]
The role supports industry and applied R&D projects through design, development, and delivery, while supervising students in their final year projects
[What you will be working on]
- Undertake industry and R&D project design and development.
- Work with project manager/lead to fulfil the required project deliverables.
- Supervise students in their final year projects.
- Maintain a strong interest in software development and applied research.
- High-performing candidates may be considered for potential future conversion to a Lecturer role based on suitability and prevailing institutional requirements.
[What we are looking for]
- Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology or related disciplines.
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience in software and system development.
- Ability to use AI-assisted tools to enhance coding efficiency and quality.
- Practical knowledge of Cloud Computing for project deployment.
- Experience in Agile Software Development Methodology.
- Strong soft skills and a demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies.
