Software Engineer (ReactJS Focused)

Our client, a leading social media giant, is hiring a Software Engineer (Frontend Focused) to help build and scale high-impact consumer products and internal platforms. You'll work across the entire development lifecycle-from early technical design to implementation, testing, and release-while partnering closely with product, design, support, and other engineering teams. This role is suited for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems and contributing to large, cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with Product, Design, Support, and other teams to shape and refine project requirements.

• Build and test (unit and end-to-end) major product features while meeting delivery timelines.

• Develop user interfaces, backend systems, and APIs using languages such as JavaScript, PHP/Hack, and Python.

• Build large-scale consumer features and internal tools.

• Follow strong engineering and release practices across the entire development process.

• Partner with platform and operations teams to scale automated systems and infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience owning full-stack projects through the entire SDLC.

• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across different functions.

• Ability to work with and influence senior engineers or technical leaders.

• Proven history of delivering complex projects on schedule.

• Experience driving large, cross-team engineering initiatives.

• Proficiency with Git, Mercurial, or other distributed version control systems.

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or another STEM discipline.

• Experience building high-quality enterprise products.

• Ability to write complex and efficient SQL queries.

• Exposure to multiple programming languages in production environments.

• Any background in support or operations work.

• Experience building privacy-related or ads-focused products.
