Software Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer (L2 Production Support). The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting business-critical applications, while also contributing to enhancements and automation. This role requires a balance of strong technical fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

. Provide support for applications, databases, and system environments.

. Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and resolve issues escalated from L1 within SLA.

. Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive fixes.

. Support release management, deployment activities, and post-deployment validation.

. Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for production support tasks.

. Manage Linux-based environments for application support and automation tasks.

. Collaborate with development teams on bug fixes, enhancements, and system stability improvements.

. Document procedures, update knowledge base, and ensure operational excellence.

. Participate in shift-based support (morning, afternoon, night) and on-call rotation as required.

Requirements:

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

. 1+ years experience in SQL and database management.

. Hands-on exposure to Linux environments and scripting.

. Understanding of full-stack technologies (Java, Spring ,Spring boot, Angular, REST APIs) and SDLC practices.

. Knowledge of ITIL concepts (incident, problem, change management).

. Familiarity with version control (Git), UAT, and system deployment.

. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

. Open to shift-based support work.
