Job Summary
Develop and maintain software applications and infrastructure, ensuring reliable deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting to support integrated building and facility management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications and services to meet business needs
- Take full ownership of assigned applications and their infrastructure from development through deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to enable efficient software delivery
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues across application, infrastructure, and networking layers to ensure system reliability
- Investigate and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Automate repetitive deployment and operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors
- Maintain clear technical documentation and actively contribute to technical and system design discussions
- Independently troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues to support continuous system operation
- Apply knowledge of application and infrastructure security practices to safeguard systems
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java programming languages
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for data management
- Understanding of basic networking concepts such as DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, and network connectivity
- Experience with Git and modern software development workflows for version control and collaboration
- Experience with cloud or virtualized environments to support scalable infrastructure
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies for application deployment
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code or infrastructure automation tools to manage infrastructure efficiently
- Exposure to backend APIs, microservices, or distributed systems architectures
